Don't Panic

It's Been busy with all sorts of dull and boring stuff this week and I have just caught up with some of the papers
Don't panic ..is the cry ... sounds like someone is hearing the alarm bells ringing and not just because the two words immediately make usa ll think of Dads Army.Comic genius? .. perhaps such is the subtlety of Keith's style of management that he is going to come up with the ultimate punchline delivered with perfect timing on the last day of the season?
Are we all over reacting in the same way as the media feeding frenzy that surrounds the Brand and Ross shagging furore. For fucks sake he was a bit actor that became famous for making the Spanish look inept and getting slapped around the head and she is on the edge of the sex industry working as an erotic cheap burlesque dancer.Yeah they were a little bit over the top but if he had answered his phone to do the interview as he promised then none of this would of happened.
Absolute Overkill with the spiv car dealer getting involved because the blue side hate the BBC and the reds because it detracts from the state of the economy . Spin spin spin.Bullshit.
I digress are we over reacting ? No, simple as that.
The resident comedian, yes we do have one that is as good as Jimmy Krankie came out with an anecdote to describe Keith's passion levels.
His wife has been shopping at Agent Provocateur (none of that cheap Ann summers tat here) and gets dressed up in the an outfit that would have you spilling over the edge as soon as your eyes saw it.The candles are lit,Barry White is playing and she lays on the bed waiting, the door opens slowly our man enters and looks his wife up and down and then down and up,he shuffles closer, arms still crossed and leans over. His wife is poised for a tempestuous kiss but instead he sniffs the skimpy material of the basque and says I notice you've changed the washing powder love ...
Passion at its highest level......anyhow play a blinder,Pass the ball and Don't Panic

To the Pathetic knobs that vandalise cars and really threaten people

Mindless violence is a newspaper phrase
It's an excuse to vandalise a human frame
what a clever little gang can attack a single man
and then run into the night before you've seen what you'd done
yes, you ran into the night before you'd seen what you'd done.

Mindless cowards 'cos that’s what you are
but you'll go far you'll go far, you'll go so very far,
have you had your bit of fun, now you've seen someone’s blood run
and then you run into the night, before you've seen what you'd done
yes, you ran into the night before you'd seen what you'd done

and I say to you, what if the old man doesn't pull through?
what if the geezer doesn't pull through, now that the blame lies squarely on you
what if the old man doesn’t pull through?

Mindless violence, what does it prove
it proves you don’t know the people who are shitting on you
see the blood stains on his shirt
Picasso's completed another work
he's just another exhibit in a hospital bed
just another exhibit in a hospital bed
and I say to you, what if the geezer doesn't pull through?

What if the geezer man doesn't pull through
now that the blame lies squarely on you
what if the old man doesn't pull through
Mindless violence- who is to blame?

KIddy FA cup home

Well the EDP quote was we are going to show them little respect and really go for the game.. umm For the first ten minutes with our new 4-3-2-1 formation we did just that and then the high quality No5 for Kiddy did an old fashioned centre half job on our old fashioned centre forward to neutralise the threat and the game was all but over for us as we all know that Plan B does not really exist.
Still I thought we looked comfortable even with JD off of the pitch but the attack element from the game was more subdued and then came defending that is beyond comprehension at any level out of a primary school gate. They showed just like Cambridge did last year that if you gift them chances they will score them.So beer was sought at 3-0 down from 4 real attempts on goal. Then the second half, did we go for it? Did we heck, even with the introduction of JJ and now with 4 attacking players on the pitch we had no idea against a quality side that could relax in the knowledge that they were in the 1st round of the cup.It looked more liked damage limitation than fighting to get back in the game.
Poor,Poor,Poor and the gulf between the level we are at and where we are aiming for is glaringly wide.We need better players and someone that can get something out of them if we want to achieve anything better than a relegation fight.
I guess the 6 pointer cliche is going to get used in the next couple of weeks with the arrival of Solihull and then the trip to Hucknall.
The natives are more that restless now.

Kiddy Kiddy Kiddy

Well that should get the hits up on the site from all of those depraved people that should have their testicles removed at the same time as their heads.
Who knows what tomorrow brings as the opening line of the song goes. Will we be celebrating with a glass of the finest family choice dandelion and burdock or staring into an empty glass of Netto cherryade.
I fancy us to get at least a draw from the game even though I could do without a journey to the midlands midweek but we need to come out all guns blazing and go for the game.
Will Keith get the reaction he wants from his players as he takes it one game at a time.
Will the Tennyson end suck the ball into the net after we asked the question how did JJ miss that.
Do we have the bouncebackability factor with us or are we like cheap tea bags that do not stay in the cup very long.
Will people realise that for a big lad he is good with his feet when JD rifles home the winner after ghosting past his marker.
& finally at the end of the day after being down early doors after being defensively naive in a game of two halves, DB came on and joined the party to prove that it was a marathon not a sprint had a ball to hand decision turned down then got the ball (not the ankles) passed to the traditional English centre forward who then got the split decision of the linesman to complete a smash and grab....
and that's how its going to happen in a typical fa cup style moment tomorrow.. Honestly in a cliched sort of way!!

Trying to figure it out

I have been trying to figure out over the last few days why I feel so unsatisfied with our current manager. It wasn't an instant dislike as can happen but it is more of a gradual thing still with moments when i am questioning why?
Some of it goes back to last season when Chutney and Phileas really could of managed the team and won promotion in March. The team was good enough all on their own it just needed real direction without too much intervention.
This season has seen us return to the level of football that we were at before the league was restructured all be the top half of that level and I really should be satisfied with mid table in the first season and probably will be in retrospect as we spent most our last few seasons at that level yo yo-ing up and down, but the manner that we are going about it at this time is going to send us spiralling towards the relegation zone.We are paying far too much respect to all of our opponents, with the attacking options we have to me this is just not necessary and is putting the side on the defensive all of the time with even the option of countering being more difficult with just the one forward in that actual position if the wide players make a counter at speed.Jack is giving more than his all in every game and how the lad is still standing after 70 Min's just shows how fit he really is,but he needs another player either as a pair of in a 1-1 formation. As for the defending a corner with all bodies that is beyond my realms of comprehension completely. How can you counter when every single player is defending? As for seeing it in the premiership, did it work and is any top side still doing it?
This manager causes more frustration with his negativity that any manger i can remember. Does he have any real idea of how to win a game from the start or anytime for that? It is still players individual quality that is getting him out of jail. John Turners goal on Tuesday was all about the player nothing else.
Do we expect too much and have we been spoilt over the last few seasons because as a team we have always been challenging for honours.Maybe?
Should we lower our expectations and expect to lose more than we will win for a season or two?
The thing is player wise we are better than that. With some togetherness, passion and rousing the side can do so much better.
The manager is not getting the best out of his players and what troubles me is Why?
Come and prove me wrong Keith,Mr A.Ferguson did in 1990 when along with thirty thousand others I was calling for his head.
What a level to aspire to even for all of the MUFC haters out there.

Tamworth at Home

Well here goes , Positive stuff first ..
That was a good second half display and we nearly snatched a draw , perhaps if JJ had played a few more games he would of put away his simple..ish chance
The lad from Kettering fitted in well.
Chappers looked hungry
John Turner was excellent
We went to 3 up front in the end was this the players doing what they wanted or under instruction...
and the rest ... Why set up a stall for damage limitation at home...Do you have any bottle Keith?
Setting up like that was just inviting them to come and attack. Are we a charity?
JJ and DB on the bench until it was too late , We had been 2 down from the 25th min WTF ?
Keith and Lee you really are tactical Geniuses
The players nearly got us a draw , would we of deserved it? probably not just like many of the games we have drawn already this season.
I still hate Tamworth

My Reaction Tomorrow

Expecting Defeat

I have an irrational hatred of The Tampax in all of it's guises. They are simply there to cause me anger and frustration with the occasional bout of joy when they fall apart.
The hatred goes back for me to the nineties but i know for others it goes back much further. They were our nemesis for many years and the closest thing we had to real rivals with every other local side still a pub team or always a league or two above. There was some real hatred for a while with the away game being the highlight of the calender in the same vein as West ham vs
Millwall.Even my missus hates them and gave one of their stirring knobhead stewards a plastic spoon for his contribution to the game one year.
My hatred did melt slightly for several years until some Villa twat broke my nose after a game that we had lost again at the Lamb. Now the flame is brightly alight and although I expect no better than a defeat tonight it had better be with all guns blazing or all rational will be going out of the proverbial window.
I will state now that I am a Gary Mills fan and if any manager went to the board and asked for more and was given it even if the pot was empty then that is fairly and squarely the boards fault in my book.He is high on my Highly regarded list.I am sure there was some real spin going on after he left just as there was upstairs when Tommy Taylor jumped ship. It's easy to slag off the departed.Tonight for a couple of hours or so though he is the manager of the hated Tampax and will be treated as such.
Fuck the ball get in to them , that is the only way we will win tonight..
Do the players have the Bollocks ... I Sadly Doubt it.

Gig Review Pt2. .. Camera Obscura

Sunday night saw a hop and skip up to Lincoln and the Drill Hall (think a smaller scale Kings Lynn Corn Exchange with a council that gives a toss about the arts) to see a group that have always escaped me,the captivating Camera Obscura
I arrived just after the first support band the Glasgow Attic Lights had gone on and watched most of a set that was pleasant enough in a jingle guitar Travis sort of way. It hit a few heights and i read today that they have received 4 stars for the new LP in both Uncut and Q - This sort of sums them up in a polite way.
The next support was a Swedish artist called Britta Persson who just failed for me. Her music is a polite whimsy PJ Harvey pastiche that just didn't click any buttons and failed in the depths of the hall. I have since had a listen to her myspace and it is simply ok.
Next up in the Bar area of the hall were the Norwich band The Kabeedies and they were full of energy, riffs and tunes that should see then move on to bigger things.Playing them in the bar area whether by luck or genius worked a treat.
Camera Obscura were lush and lovely, they play tunes that take you back to another era and the new tunes were as good as the oldies. In front of a small but loving audience ( the promoter must of took a hit last night) they put on a good show playing the Rod Stewart"Some Girls"in the encore as well as all of the "Hits" (an in joke)The old Peel fave "Eighties Fan"was amazing and will stay with me for a long while.
One thing i noted is that The Drill hall really is not an ideal venue for music of this kind especially with the venue 3/4's empty.
All in all another good gig for the cost of eight
English pounds which was still too expensive for the residents of Lincoln! I would of expected a few more students but I guess it was across the other side of town and do students support the local towns they live in beyond the landlords and their campuses any more?

Eighties Fan

Gig Review Part 1- Chris Murray

Friday saw Canadian ska hero Chris Murray play at one of the smallest venues I have ever seen a gig in.The gig was at Bedfords bar crypt and it is exactly that with a huge pillar in the middle and about the size of a large living room.
The night started with an acoustic set by the Norwich Ska group Smaller than You which was very good especially considering it was the first time they had played an acoustic set. They have a new ep out which is pretty dam good.
Second up was Mike Scott of hardcore band Phinius Gage who played a set of depressive songs(he did say half way through that his wife had left him last week). He drew the crowd in and was impressive
He was followed by Matthew Reynolds of Howards Alias and Skylar fame who played a soulful set with plenty of banter with a good sized crowd even if the promoter earlier in the evening did look worried.I have seen him in both of the bands and will admit that i already thought he was a great artist before the evening. He rubber stamped this and he is also a genuinely nice guy.
Chris Murray was Superb and played basically a request set with the audience dictating the set list.He plays roots ska and is at the top of his game.It was a storming set that left me with a vibe in the heart and a big smile on my face.He is back in the country early next year with his band and should be on your list of gigs to attend. His new LP with his band The Chris Murray Combo-"Why so Rude" is wonderful.
Another quality gig for the sum of six English pounds only.
Have a look at the myspaces of the above artists(they are linked) you will not be disappointed.

Growing Up ,remember it ?

The Farsley Debacle

Well there goes my false hope flying up the A47 on the back of a pikee scrap metal flatbed to be sold along side the lead from the main stand roof for a pittance.I won't over analyse the game as this has been done more than adequately on the forum in much the same words as i was planning to use.
We were awful against a side that had not won away all season but showed why they were in the conference premier last year.Scott Howie was superb and with any lesser keeper we would of been 4 down before the farce of the injuries and the amnesia of the manager over the substitute rule.
Keith, you need less of the cliches and a clear out of the players that are not good enough or seem to just want to turn up and collect their money.Frew was appalling as was Francis. We need a real midfield that can boss a game and we cannot afford the luxury of two wingers.
In your notes you say pass the ball, well get your team doing it to feet and to players in the same colour shirt.
Ben Sedgemore either play him or get rid, yesterday was screaming for him.Was he even at the game?
Yesterday i wrote about pushing on,well today a village side have crushed that dream and meant that instead of looking forward to Tampax on Tuesday night dread has entered the realms of my mind.Damage limitation will probably be the only tactic available.I bet Gary Mills is rubbing Daron Gees hands in anticipation of the rout that they are going to inflict on us Tuesday night, will he raise a smile in the direction of his past nemesis Mr Nicholls , You bet.
Even the more moderate supporters must of seen through their rose coloured spectacles after yesterday.

Farsley Celtic

I wonder when i do a snap survey later how many people will actually know where Farsley Celtic play their hometown football ? My guess now is less than 25%.
Their rise over the last few years has been nothing less than fairy tale with a few dramatic chapters thrown in for good measure. They show how much a club can achieve in this beautiful game.
I could use Hiss-ton as another example but that leaves a sour taste in the mouth.Anyone else notice how the Cambridge Pub team have started to release players to relieve costs.
It is time for us now eleven games in to see how far we have come and decide if settling for mid table is enough. Is it ?? Not for me.Did we catch Harrogate on a very good day? Is the gap that big?
Smith and Mitchell seem to be a few yards quicker in the last couple of weeks, still a bit lightweight though.
Forget the distraction of the FA Cup and lets pick up 6 points in the next 4 days and start a challenge for the top.

Kidderminster At Home

Well it could of been worse there are three teams higher than them in the table and we are at home so the pennies coming in will be loaded in our favour.
Is it winnable? Personally i think definitely so, it does have the initial feeling of a nothing very special game due to the Harriers not being fashionable and no rivalry at all but i think this could be a corker of a cup tie. They won't fancy coming to us and we will have nothing to lose this time out.
I have no idea if they travel in numbers but the sheer lure of the FA Cup should be enough to encourage a few from the edge of the Midlands to make the effort.
We should see a good crowd, maybe touching 2000 for the game.
But first the more important league with the other Celtic side from the division coming to the Walks and then the turn of the Tampax who need sending back to their hole feeling all used, dirty and trampled on.
I guess those that had already booked rooms with R Wayne in the North East for the Gateshead game have spent the morning trying to get refunds... Check out all the possibilities before you book lads.
Did anyone else see the Peter Kay spoof Talent show last night ? How funny was that.I spent the entire time laughing out loud... the first song about Chasing waterfalls by Two up Two down still has me giggling this morning.

Wroxham Away FA Cup

Total Distance Travelled - About 110 miles
Travelling time - 2hrs 30 mins
Weather - Lovely , Summer in October?
Soundtrack - Good ole conversation ... Anyone remember that? Radio Norfolk and Radio 5

The journey was straight forward and Wroxham were pretty dam efficient in the way they organised entry to the ground and car parking(guess they missed the two fans that we had hidden in the boot though). It would of been interesting if the heavens had opened on the car parking front.
I have to say that is the oddest legal way I have ever entered a Football ground.
Good quick service in the bar (not overly expensive either this time)with the view whilst being served very pleasant indeed.
All of the alcoholics also got into the bar for half time as well. Get more organised other people.
Great to see so many fans at the game though the lay out of the ground and the actual game itself meant that the crowd were very quiet.
The game itself was a bit of a non event like all hyped events. We controlled the game from start to finish, never really getting out of bottom gear and always looking like the eventual winners.Fair play to Wroxham they kept going and had a couple of average chances but the game was never in doubt.
Well played the midfield and the two..,Yes i said two forwards. At last we are getting there Keith. In all a very professional Job to secure the £7500 and a place in Mondays draw.
After estimating an hour of getting out of the car park we dived for the car on the final whistle and again due to good organisation were on to the main road in a matter of minutes..Older age is creeping,I will be leaving a game early next just to be first off the car park.
A few other bits from the day
A good tale told by the Fighter of his skirmish with Norfolks finest(umm)..this week.Nothing like police overkill and then realising they have got it wrong again...Learning to read the alphabet helps plod.It will be interesting to hear if they apologise at the very least.
Happy birthday to the Shrimp man who hit his mid twenties yesterday and I would guess has the hangover to prove it this morning.Talking of heavy heads,A very loud shout out to the Tote seller girl and the Woolwich Boot Merchant to aid their recovery from the Juice of doom.
Good to meet B.U yesterday.Get that reunion sorted.

A True Story and a Rant

Once upon a time three out of work mid fifties men had to attend a job club style learn new skills course. When they got to the course their task for the day was top design a poster using the computer and all that entailed. With the best group winning an afternoon at Strikes Bowling Alley. The three guys got stuck into the task and their poster was judged as being the best so they celebrated and proceeded to look forward to their prize.....
BUT .. cue drumroll... the prize was then cruelly denied them.......
Why?
I hear you cry......
Because they were too big for Planet Zoom?
Their feet were too big for the shoes?
They found a company that wasn't ageist to give them a job?

NO,you are all wrong ... they were denied the reward because the job club had no one that could chaperone the three grown up fully able men to the Bowling Alley.
Heath and Safety/risk assessment rules meant this had to be the case for the trip to go ahead.
What is going on in this overly PC,blame/claim world ??
This story happened in Kings Lynn this week

On the subject of stupidity I noticed today that Blogger had removed one of my posts without even e-mailing me(the post did contain a link to a song but the link was not obvious and was not even promoted).... MUPPET OVERKILL TWATS..both the record company and blogger. That is the last time I give that Brazilian group a mention on my blog...

Wroxham and CSS

Seven hundred plus fans to a 3rd Qualifying round of a cup match against with all due respect much lower opposition who are still an hours journey away!!
That is simply magnificent. The idea all be it one made for safety reasons of making the game all ticket has certainly worked in the favour of
Wroxham by making sure that Kings Lynn fans had to make an early decision on whether or not they were going to the game.
Love the debate/chat between the Travel agent and the secretary of
Wroxham on the bar facilities.
Does the Travel Agent ever think beyond his Belly and Liver ?
Mines a pint of Bitter Please he shouts at 2 pm over the sixteen deep bar queue.Be with you in an hour or two comes the reply!
Hands up who's taking a tow rope to pull out the cars that sink in the bottom field.
Let the sun shine and the Goals flow.
CSS were superb in a very hot and sweaty Norwich "The Waterfront" (or "he ate ron" as it is named outside the building). They play great tunes that are a mash of every style of music you can think of.It went totally off when they played the top tune "Lets make love to death from above".Dancing shoes were on of course in between admiring some of the lovely Ladies of the Fine City. Talking of fine ladies the Norwich band "The Kabeedies" were last minute support for CSS and they were Great. I have a ticket to see them in a couple of weeks at the Arts Centre with the Bobby McGee's and on last nights performance it should be quality.

Sunny ! Tuesday Joke

A man wearing a mask bursts into a sperm bank with a shot gun. "Open the safe!" he yells at the girl behind the counter.

"But we're not a real bank" replies the girl. "This is a sperm bank, we don't hold money".

"Don't argue just open the safe or I'll blow your head off!" She obliges and opens the safe door.

"Take one of the bottles and drink it!"

"But it's full of sperm" the girl replies nervously.

"Don't argue, just drink it" he says.

She prys off the cap and gulps it down.

"Take out another one and drink it too!" he demands.

The girl drinks another one.

Suddenly the guy pulls off the mask and to the girl's amazement it's her husband.......

"Not that damn difficult, is it?" he says.

The Children of Huang Shi

I watched this today and it is well worth two hours of your time.It does play safe and uses poetic licence but leaves you wanting to know more about the true story behind the film
It also stars the lovely Radha Mitchell, a reason in itself to watch the film.

The trailer

Socialism or Barbarism

Digging through a file today I found this Motto that someone had written in the EDP at one time or other
Socialism or Barbarism.I truly believe that we should start putting people before profit and eradicate all forms of bullying whether it be racism, sexism, ageism, homophobia, discriminating against the disabled or the poorest, most vulnerable people in our society.
The strong should protect the weak.

Food for thought and hopefully much more at a time when the poor in the society are struggling to keep warm and a very wealthy banker gets killed trying to stop an attack on a homeless Lithuanian couple by three thugs. Would we of stepped in?

Related mainly just in the use of the word barbarism in the song title

Reading the Whole Story

Guess this Enoch Devotee doesn't
From the Spartans forum
I would reply on their forum but just can't be arsed to register

Not often I'm lost for words but.....
http://kingslynntravellingarmy.blogspot.com/
Presumably 6 and above constitutes the use of the word 'army' these days?

Well in reply this is by far the smallest following we have had all season ( the smallest up to visiting your lovely part of the country was 70 ) Perhaps the reason the general away support has dwindled is due to your lovely demeanour

And what a dopey shite - filling the car with the wrong fuel - a comedy basic
shirley?

Hands up but the price has been paid

And he's updating his blog en route to the game which implies he's devoid of any social life, the sad nowt, and probably lives with his mother or alone at best?

En route ...what? read it all and not your edited highlights that switch the story around in your own little mind.... social life is quite quiet at the minute but that is more to do with looking after the wife who has MND (look it up) Sad ? no,taking all that life offers .. and lives withs his mother !!! I left home at 18 and have never moved back, did live with the Grandma when she ran a pub for a while though if that helps your story pan out.

Oh, look at that - I wasn't lost for words after all.

neither was I
I look forward to buying you a beer at the Walks on January the 24th

Away to the Spartans

I am sure you have read all of the happenings earlier on today well here is a text i have just got from the Fighter
For the Blog
Travellin time 7 hrs 50 mins
Comfort breaks 0 (the Kings is not on board)
Petrol stops 1
Soundtrack... Radio 1 and 5 and KISS ... Addicted to Bassline!
All that way
FU A BEAST WIN !!!!

EDIT>>>HA! HA! Another Text from the Fighter to complete the Journey

Distance travelled 454 miles! ..
Very Quiet Journey with the Traveller looking at fields and the Beast in hibernation!!
( names slightly altered with poetic licence)

Another LEGEND is Made

The car got drained, the bill got paid and I made it to the reserves who played quite well against a Walsham side ... Dom Dwyer, maybe a very good player in the making who scored a terrific overhead kick .
What a result in Blyth .. I have no details yet but to come from 2 down to win 4-2 is good enough for me ... and he played 4-4-2..
Magnificent.

And the Prize for Dickhead

Of the day goes to ME ...
Why you ask ?
Because after putting fuel into the hire car ,I then read the sign on the petrol flap and realised that i had had just put forty English pounds of Unleaded into a Diesel car.
What A Knobhead .
It's now 11.15 and the car is in a garage having the fuel drained.
The remaining three lads are hopefully flying up the A1 to Newcastle in the Fighters car.
I am going nowhere waiting for phonecall to pick the car up and overall at least £250 lighter for the experience.
The morals are be more careful when fuelling cars that you don't know and read the fuel cap.
Time to watch the end of Soccer Am and continue to berate my myself for my own stupidity.
Fingers crossed that the traffic is light for the 3 lads.

Added note -
The good news is that the garage have popped the bonnet and found that the last user of the car left the oil cap off and the engine is now coated in what oil was left in the engine.
In other words we would of broke down and probably destroyed the engine if we had tried to get to the game. There is always a positive as they say.
I might even go and see how bad the reserves still are later now if the car is done.

An Early Ramble

Hi Ho Hi Ho It's off to Blyth we go and its bloody freezing.
Well 4 of us anyhow in another hire car(already picked up)this time from the main man Matt at A10 autos (top man).
It's the second furthest journey of the season and a total unknown in all possible ways.
I have already been warned of the roadworks from the Runner who made his way to the North East last night in preparation for his 4th Great North Run.He has even got the daughter doing the junior run this morning.Good luck to both.
It's now Time to chose the music to pleasure my fellow journeymen and do all the last minute jobs.
Safe Saturday to all.

Notes

I received a comment that my lack of social commentary was being noticed so as it's raining, cold and Friday now is the time to charm you all with a few observations.
The FA Cup draw against Wroxham
Great stuff...local,Very winnable and if it rains we will get very wet as the only cover they have is the small seating area and the patio area outside the bar.Good luck in getting a beer in the ground.
God bless Norfolk police in limiting the capacity and making the game all ticket.Funny that Lincoln Utd didn't do this but we do have the possibility that pseudo Narwich Hooligans might come to the game to worry about .. Yawn..Polite applause to the club on organising ticket sales,Sunday sales would be good though. To all the moaners, life doesn't come on a silver service platter all of the time get off your arses and make a fucking effort you lazy cnuts.Well thats the abuse out of the way.
General Notes
Are we all now poor because every media orifice is telling me we all are?
One of the funniest things I saw in the papers today was the Dersingham Rovers reserves match review finishing with the lines
"Dersingham would like their two 16 year old wingers to turn up next week minus hangovers" most amusing..
Why is ebay just like a glorified shop now,Why do i have to wade through shedloads of overpriced buy now junk to find a genuine seller.

A Pogues Double

A Rainy Night In Soho

Misty Morning Albert Bridge

Both Tracks bring back special memories

I dreamt we were standing
By the banks of the thames
Where the cold grey waters ripple
In the misty morning light
Held a match to your cigarette
Watched the smoke curl in the mist
Your eyes, blue as the ocean between us
Smiling at me

I awoke alone and lonely
In a faraway place
The sun fell cold upon my face
The cracks in the ceiling spelt hell
Turned to the wall
Pulled the sheets around my head
Tried to sleep, and dream my way
Back to you again

Count the days
Slowly passing by
Step on a plane
And fly away
Ill see you then
As the dawnbirds sing
On a cold and misty morning
By the albert bridge
