So he has won the most test matches as a test captain , what a stupid daft record to hold.
At a time when there are more test teams and matches than ever before. Most of the test sides are either mediocre or just bloody awful and this includes the current West Indies in the bloody awful category his record stands for nothing but a meaningless statistic.
Guess he got lucky that he was injured for the last ashes series so these games were missing from his captains career!
For Christs sake even Nasser Hussain is fourth in the list.
Just another example of trying to judge the modern game and how it is now overplayed with the old golden eras. Peter May's captaincy record , now that record is an honest one.
