So Earnshaw has left Narwich under his contract for a pittance and they have taken back Cureton as a replacement. That should guarantee another season of fighting relegation for Norfolk's second best team. At least Henderson has got out of the place and can now get a chance to prove his worth and progress in the game.Ryan Jarvis should get out of there as well before he is left to rot.
So laid back Shaun Marshall has joined little Robbie at "don't call me a ****"at Merthyr Robert Taylor's Dereham. If he can show half of the good form that he occasionally did for us then he should prove a shrewd pick up for them. You Better get the deliveries sorted though RT , of both types!
The end of June is nearly upon us which means as well as the plainly obvious that it's July and also that half the year is gone and we are getting close to the commercial hell of Christmas. It means that the smoking ban is about to start. Hurrah! so now i can smell of beer and piss when i get home from the pub instead of these smells being masked!
It also means that Gay pride is over for the year , well at least the london march anyhow. How about this for a costume
More importantly it signals the start of Pre-season training for all clubs and the fact that football is nearly back!
Get In There!

The Fullback with tree trunk legs
So after a chase lasting a few years we finally get the full back with tree trunks for legs , Good stuff as long as he is still as good as he looked then. He has certainly consistently been picked for the sides that he has played for in the last few seasons . I see Webb is going to get him to pass on his experiences to the untapped potential that is Francis. We are certainly talking the talk this summer, but can we WTW.
AWay AWay AWay AWAy for the first four fixtures , excellent stuff . Lets make them all distant travels as well to get them out of the way while the weather can be enjoyed.
I see Paul Warne has gone to Yeovil for his final season in league football. Good luck baldy and stay injury free so you can honour your quotes and come to KLFC next season. Speaking of baldy's i also notice that drink driver Hughes looks like he will be playing at Oldham while wearing his electronic Tag. That should be fun for the opposition crowd, guess we will see if his anger management classes have really worked. As it took him several years to apologise for running someone and nearly killing them, I won't hold my breath.
And on the topic of anger how angry must those Charlton Ladies feel with the club for closing the ladies team to save money after the men got relegated. What a bunch of assholes to have in charge of your club , was Mike Newell involved?. At least the ladies actually won trophies . I used to have a soft spot for Charlton . They can go and hang now!
Funny how fuck ups come back to haunt managers , even when they are still successful . Capello falls out with the money making global brand machine that is Golden bollocks , causing the brand to move to the promised land leaving Real Madrid short on the bottom line for the future and gets sacked even after winning the league after a very long barren spell. So it's not about the money then Mr Real Madrid President?

NO !!! Andy Goldstein
I meant to comment on this before but it got lost in the back of my mind.
Who the fuck hired Andy (I am not Funny) Goldstein to become the new host of the best saturday morning tv programme ever. It is like replacing Phillip Schofield with that knob Andi Peters . Does no one look back at other peoples mistakes and learn from them anymore!
It signals the beginning of the end for Soccer Am in my eyes . They say that change is good, so it may be but Andy Goldstein!! what!! He's a sad old Spurs fan for goodness sake , you just know he will settle for mid table mediocrity and success will become a dim and distant memory.
Do a Torquay Utd and sack him before he even begins
RIP Soccer Am

A Quick Old Joke
Long Marriage
A man was invited for dinner at a friend's house. Every time the host needed something, he preceded his request to his wife by calling her "My Love", "Darling", "Sweetheart", etc., etc. His friend looked at him and said, "That's really nice after all of these years you've been married to keep saying those little pet names." The host said, "Well, honestly, I've forgotten her name."Have you ever done it ?

Guess whose back ! Back again !
And listening to crap rap as well it appears. Well normal service is resumed and its time to have a good old natter with myself.
Its all crashing ceilings and sparks at the walks with the temporary rainproof roof having more holes than the boards excuses for us not getting promotion last season . I wonder if that will be an excuse if failure (which is not an option says King Ken) happens again this season, oh the money we lost over the summer and we are still waiting for the insurance payout . The excuses just roll off of my cynical tongue.
King Ken has reassured me though via the EDP headline "Linnets dig deep for promotion" and "that all the stops" will be pulled out this year. Let's just hope he wasn't talking about finding buried treasure under the pitch!. The transfer talk does look promising but so do many things at first glance .Let's make sure we don't end up with any 10 to 2 ers in desperation this year.
Ignoring the weather simply because it doesn't directly affect me and also that's all everyone is bloody talking about it's been a few days of surnames beginning with in my best Sesame Street voice the letter H.
Get in there Ricky lad , a good performance and you have certainly wound up Floyd Mayweather. Now that will be a worth staying up to 4 in the morning fight.
Mr inconsistent Tim did a great job at the Jolly hockey sticks Tennis today , he still needs to retire though. I love wimbledon and the tennis but it is so far up it's arse . Elitism and Class at its worse.
Finally that shit in bed , please make a bit of porn that some good Paris got released. Who really gives a monkeys ! They should of put her with the real prisoners and videoed that!

Should be at Glasto Thursday Post
It is the difficult Thursday post again, no football news and awaiting the arrival of the weekend.
I watched the "F4 and the rise of the silver surfer" movie this evening and although i will admit i am not the greatest fan of this type of movie it is really very good indeed. Well worth a watch when it gets to DVD in the winter ( God bless the wonder of the Internet!)
The Man city saga , it could only happen at the City!! VERY VERY AMUSING!!!
Talking about laughing at the cruelly afflicted it looks bleak for Bostcum , they are now asking for public donations as part of plan B!! & the chairman cares so much he has gone on a two week holiday! I guess someone got paid in the last few months then!
Bye Bye Bostscum as we know them , Will they be too late to register for a new league if it all goes to plan C , I would guess so.

A Heroic Effort
Well done the England U21 squad, you did us proud indeed. The stats will illustrate that the dutch did deserve the victory but it was a heroic effort to take the game so far with more injured players that fit and with 3 players that would miss the final if they had got there. It must be time for fifa and uefa to re-evaluate the bookings procedures so that a clean slate is issued after group games and the final doesn't degenerate into a farce with some of the tournaments top players missing.
They need to sort the refereeing of penalties as well with the keeper either obeying the law or the penalty being retaken. The Dutch goalkeeper was nearly on the penalty spot by the time the kick was taken for just about every kick tonight.
Sour grapes ? maybe , Against the laws of the game? Yes

C'MON ENGLAND!!! lets get through and play them racist Serbs in the final and kick some Balkan arse!
Next week brings forth the Copa America, superb stuff lots of sexy football with attitude. It makes me drool with the thought of it and Venezuelan ladies in the crowd as well. It must be time to get the tent out so to speak!
Glastonbury festival , well what do you say? Get the Welly's and canoes out again it seems. Seriously i absolutely love the festival , Well i did until all of the lets get our tickets in an hour knobs moved in and us old crusties got left out.Let it rain down so fucking hard that they never return and tell all of their friends as well. In all honesty i have many great hazy memories that mean i still get really cranky upon not returning when it is on.

It was a great finish by Matt Derbyshire, bring on the Dutch!
It was a quality episode of TRFFI tonight , Good Dutch Hooliganism that illustrated the old adage by the football clubs "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"
They should really work on their songwriting though.

On a personal note to the knobhead with the piece of 70's bum fluff under his nose that stood a foot in front of my wife at the gig then turned around had a good look, then turned back and proceeded to stay there for 20 minutes. If you stand directly in front of someone in a wheelchair it means they can't see .YOU are a prize TWAT! Just a Quickie as we old ones say on a Thursday
I really enjoyed the England U21 game tonight , Neither side could finish and had more than a few instances of defensive ineptitude.Very enjoyable , Is Leroy Lita the new Andy Cole in the amount of chances he needs to actually hit the back of the net.
I failed to mention about David Bentley earlier in the week, so he's tired ... bollocks to that , not too tired to travel with the full England squad though a few days before. A bit knee jerk maybe but he should never play for England again , simple as!
So the Northern dilemma is solved without a part 3 , good sense in the end and i see Mr Glover does have personal within issues with the northern league!!

The Northern Dilemma Part 2
Looks like the dilemma has been solved by a court adjournment and we would like to think the pressure by the club and its supporters . WELL DONE KEN & EVERYONE.
Sounds like the FA are not happy with the feeder leagues committees. Good is all i can say and now perhaps they will question a few more of their decisions instead of just using the overused Rubber Stamp.
Checks and balances should happen at all levels of everything to prevent wrongdoing and injustice.Take this away and we are taking away a basic right.
Promise me you will never let our club become an embarrassment like those over the bridge.
Have a look at the latest update on the Boston web fanzine impstalk.co.uk, Yes they are satirical and cruel at times but if the fans of Boston had listened to the fanzine over the last few years then they may of got much more involved and saved their club, which looks Doomed.
Never let your club stop your right to question what they are doing in a sensible manner of course.
This is not a veiled attack on our board it is just saying what it says.
Now did i laugh at Bostscums demise , of course i bloody did and had a gallon to celebrate.
I see Shane Huke has gone to D&R.My Daughter said he had great legs . just a shame he never put one in front of the other when he was with us.

MIchael Vaughan Totally Overated
So he has won the most test matches as a test captain , what a stupid daft record to hold.
At a time when there are more test teams and matches than ever before. Most of the test sides are either mediocre or just bloody awful and this includes the current West Indies in the bloody awful category his record stands for nothing but a meaningless statistic.
Guess he got lucky that he was injured for the last ashes series so these games were missing from his captains career!
For Christs sake even Nasser Hussain is fourth in the list.
Just another example of trying to judge the modern game and how it is now overplayed with the old golden eras. Peter May's captaincy record , now that record is an honest one.

Social Awareness Corner
This week from the 11th June until 17th June is CARERS WEEK
more information at CarersUK.org
This sort of sums up what it is about
There are six million people in the UK who provide unpaid help and support to a relative or friend who is frail, ill or has a disability
There are two million new carers each year, many of whom remain unknown to statutory agencies.Carers Week,which is being held from 11th to 17th June in 2007, has as its main objective enabling new and hidden carers to access support and services;
Being a carer for many people is an all-consuming and life-changing responsibility which can result in carers becoming socially isolated. 1.25 million carers effectively carry out their role 24/7 and that three million carers juggle work and care,Carers miss out on opportunities because of their caring role.
There is currently a Review of the National Carers' Strategy, which presents an opportunity to address key issues for carers such as benefits, how carers can find suitable services to help them and the person they care for, and how carers can maintain their own health and wellbeing.
A full time carer as in 24/7 365 days a year gets paid £48 a week as a reward for doing so.An absolute insult. The cost of putting the cared for person in care would be this for just 2 hours.

I Said Hey! What's Going On ?
What is going on ?
Club A goes here and club B goes here and then club C goes back to there then club D goes across to there and so on... what the fuck!
With only 3 weeks to go before all clubs start pre-season a group of knob heads sit down to a hastily arranged meeting , don't invite or even tell the clubs that could be affected involved that there is a meeting. They then decide to move clubs to another league with no appeal allowed and because they made the decision ,the fa will simply say that's all folks!
This is simply very very wrong.
If Scarborough fc go then the unibond premier or unibond1 should run with 1 less club for a year and sort out the who's what's and the rest at the end of season. Is that so very bloody hard!
Well done to Lewis Hamilton, he's been well groomed by Ron Dennis over the years and as with all good grooming the cream has finally come to the top !

The Northern Dilemma Part 1
What Are the FA and its committees doing ?
If the had asked us to move when the season finished , i would have absolutely no problem with switching to the Unibond and would cite Burton as the reasoning behind it, but asking us now is out of order.
Like most teams , players have already been signed with the thought in mind that we are playing in a southern based league. Switching leagues causes travel and cost issues for the playing squad off of the pitch and massive playing style issues with the northern league being a much more physical league.
Why don't they just do as they normally do and let Mossley (I presume it was them that went down) stay up and alter the leagues below it accordingly or let Unibond Div 1 play with one less team.
What problem do the FA at all levels have with King's Lynn FC which causes them to always deal with us in a "Let's fuck them about" manner.
As a fan being in the Unibond premier would be no problem and i would view the up coming season with a extra edge of excitement but not by the FA doing it this way.
I have had a quick scout around about the Scarborough situation and it does look grim. It is always a sad day when a fellow football team looks like they may disappear , here's hoping they get the Northern counties league application in and find a ground to share so that they can take part in that league.Sometimes you have to start with a totally clean slate at the bottom to get back to where you once belonged.

Another Difficult Thursday Post !
Thursday, The old fashioned non football day that is slowly turning to a day of football.
Jamie Cureton on an ego overload decides to leave the club that have relaunched his career and go where? The premiership ? No blooming chance! Another championship side ? Narwich ? Sort your limited brain out Cureton become a Hero and finish your career at Colchester. Don't try and use Chris Iwelumo as an excuse , Charlton had already agreed his deal well before the end of the season.
Scott Parker back to London Town, no surprise there perhaps he may fulfil his potential now , I always thought he was a much better player than that Lampard bloke.

GO and See TAKING LIBERTIES The Movie
Tune for today
David Rovics - who will tell the people
Lots of positive talking by the club today. Reopening the quickly becoming Joe Francis Fiasco, one way or another and still talking to Ben Chapman. Good stuff and the stand may be ready for the Narwich game.If not why not put some temporary seats that may become permanent in the opposite stand then leave them there like a few seasons ago.At least they will accessible to less abled bodied (those that can't climb stairs) that don't necessarily need or want to be in the new disabled seating area. Will you need a blue badge to get in the new disabled area?
Graeme Poll . I really enjoyed last night's inside sport special on Mr Poll. He came across very well and showed the personal side of what it's like to be a referee.I have to disagree in some way though he stated that the personal attack of fans via the "world cup you fucked it up " was a major part in decision on retiring early . In my view the problem is he can't get over the fact that he fucked up on the biggest stage of all and this also caused him to miss out on his biggest day , "The World Cup Final" If he is struggling to live with his mistake this has nothing to do with what is standard fans abuse. So what sexual relationship are Poll & Sir Alex having then according to Moanrinihoe then?
I have to admit i was disappointed with TRIFF last night, dull Italy fare, they do like a good ruck though.Check it out it's still well worth a watch.
On a personal note i got to see a preview screening of Taking Liberties in Cambridge tonight.
It's very very good. Very thought provoking and shows in its way how our civil liberties have been eroded by this use of the "Rule of Terror" amongst other ways.
It is the scariest movie you will see all year without fail.If you get a chance to see it please do.

A Couple of Great Goals & an Attila Poem
Although the poem is about his beloved Brighton it's message is the same for us all
WE WANT OUR GAME BACK
A pawn in Murdoch's global plan:
The local Man. United fan.
Though born and bred in Fishersgate.
Why not the Albion?' They're crap, mate!'
He'll watch them play on Sky TV
(Such brave, unflinching loyalty!)
And buy his kids their merchandise -
Still garbage at one-tenth the price.
Stuff Murdoch, Man.U, Sky TV
Stuff Pinstriped Football, PLC!
Stuff Premier League, stuff the FA
and take the moneymen away.
Give the League clubs a proper share
(Yes, MAKE them do it, Tony Blair!)
They roll in wealth - we're on our knees.
So can we have our game back, please?

I see today that the only clubs not to get any players to contribute the recent charity drive "May Day for Nurses Campaign " where they tried to get premiership players to give a days pay to the Nurses hardship Fund were Chelski and Middlesborough. You tight wad gits! May you hang your heads in shame and get them overloaded wallets out.Next time John Terry or Helmet Cech gets hurt in a challenge they had best hope that the staff that treat them are not aware of this.
For the record Arsenal and Man Utd were not well represented either with the top givers being Watford and Fulham- 28 players each. Well done those clubs

Greedy Suffolk Folk
Firstly a tune Toots and the Maytals- Louie Louie
Saturday night , 11pm definately a dangerous time to post a blog but what the hell its post season so all is sort of safe!
John Toshack must stay as as Wales Manager. He has took them back to where they belong. Just as I half believed or maybe even felt a slight movement that they may rise up and challenge or even get close to qualifying for a tournament he was appointed . God bless him in whatever language you want and Mark Hugues for moving on to middle management at Blackburn.
Toshack the man who this week said he was glad Giggs had retired because he didn't want the embarrassment of dropping him!
Robbie Savage it must be time for a charity haircut at last!
Well done Mr Beckham and co for the draw , lets now turn up for the real game.
Also a big well done to Authorized a super horse that totally showed his class in the worlds greatest horse race, I am sure Mr Dettori will get all the headlines but to lets get it right any jockey could of been on this horse and won , PURE CLASS!
Woodbridge Town Fc simply you are a bunch of greedy .. words not suitable for human consumption, that have blocked an upcoming footballers path in the game , Shame on you!

With the Reading full back Nicky Shorey forcing himself into the England side because of injuries and lets hope that Mr Cole stays injured as he is a totally overrated up his own arse (sometimes) knob, it got me thinking about how underrated this role in any football side is.
It is a totally unsung role but one that is crucial to any winning side. When we lost Smith last season the whole balance of the side was affected and although you can argue that one player should not make that bigger difference it did mean the difference between success and failure.
Many of my favourite players have been fullbacks.
The swashbuckling Kenny Samsom ,what a player the sort that never ever let anyone down . Dennis Irwin , absolutely Mr dependable and 100% every week and of course a player that was and still is awesome Paolo Maldini . He needs no superlatives.
I raise a glass to the great unsung full backs of the world.
Ranieri to Man City? I hope so at least that will guarantee they continue to still be underachievers and remain trophy less for another 31 years! How many years since they won a cup ? Did i say 31 years !!!
The Worth(Less)ington to the Northern Ireland national side? It's just took me twenty minutes to regain my typing skills through all of the laughter.

My Derby Weekend losers
Just a brief post to give my definitely not to be followed if you like to win horse tips for the derby weekend.
Today i fancy "Septimus" in the Coronation cup and then "All my loving" in the Oaks. Both will probably be big enough to back each way.
Tomorrow I fancy Mahler in the Derby , again it will probably be big enough to back each way.Frankie's mount is the real class in the race but its far too short for me to back
I will post properly later but felt the need to warn those that were backing my choices of the peril they face.
